| Spiral, Ken Follet's wonderful historic, epic book "Pillars of the Earth" has been made into a mini series! It was filmed in Austria and Hungary with a 40 million dollar budget. The first part will be two hours long on Starz on demand on July 23rd or 24th. If you go to the Starz website, they are showing previews of it and it looks great with many well known actors. |

I don't have Starz yet but am wondering about getting one movies channel.
I'm so glad they are filming this wonderful book. When I began it, I could not believe how large it was, but I didn't want it to end. The history of the construction of some the greatest structures in Europe, and the craftsmen and their families who created them through all sorts of conflicts and blockages.
You like these big historical books as I do, Candy ! |

| Spiral and all. "Pillars of the Earth" will be on Starz on demand this Friday night from 10 PM to 12 AM. This is the first of the mini series. Remaining days will be every Friday night through August. The previews look awesome! You may want to read the book, which remains a best seller. |

| It looks very good. I hope they also concentrate on the quiet times in the story, not just the violent things. |
